The Louis Amar Interview
Louis Amar is an artist and producer from Broward County, Florida, home to many legends like Kodak Black, XXXTentacion, Denzel Curry, and more. When we asked how he got into music, Louis answered "I've had a liking to music for as long as I can remember, from playing piano as a toddler, to singing in the church choir, to teaching myself a little guitar. Music has always been a part of my life."
Louis first fell in love with actually creating original music when he had a school project in 7th grade to make a song. He says, "While I was recording with some busted gaming headphones, I realized how much I loved doing this. After I finished the project, I wanted to make more and more music. So, that's what I did." It took a while for Louis to get some decent equipment to make quality music so in the meantime he used GarageBand and Apple earbuds for as long as he could, while simultaneously binge watching hours of Internet Money producers Nick Mira and Paryo cook up on FL Studio.
This, along with the much appreciated help of his friend Marcus, gave him a headstart of experience so that when it came time for Louis to finally get FL Studio, he was already familiar with the software. "I've been creating ever since..." he says. Louis pulls inspiration from artists like Ye, Rüfüs Du Sol, Juice WRLD, and AURORA to create a euphoric, electronic blend of Pop and Hip-Hop. His sound is truly refreshing amongst his peers and is one of none, yet everyone who listens can resonate with it and enjoy it.
With listeners from all across the globe like United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, or Japan, Louis has proven that his music is for people with all different types of backgrounds.
His goal is to continue to touch many hearts with his infectious music and a positive message of faith and love. He recently released the first part to his year-round project called "pr0ject 2o25", where he will be releasing different capsules of it throughout the year.
