BigSteppe: The Artist Turning His Passion Into Reality
BigSteppe's journey into music began like many other artists’—with curiosity and passion—but his story stands out for how he turned a childhood dream into a tangible reality. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, now living in Dallas, Texas, BigSteppe started exploring music in early 2019. However, it wasn’t until the quiet isolation of 2020’s quarantine that he dove headfirst into the craft, releasing his debut project, Rockstar Lifestyle.
For BigSteppe, music has always been a calling. “From a kid, I was posting videos of me singing and dancing on YouTube,” he recalls. Though he admits he wasn’t the most polished performer back then, his love for music never wavered. After high school, he decided to take it seriously, creating his own songs and falling in love with the process.
Since then, BigSteppe has achieved some impressive milestones. He’s opened for Lil Skies, collaborated with Nick Mira, and even has a track featuring none other than Sean Kingston. These experiences have fueled his drive and vision for the future.
Looking ahead to 2025, BigSteppe’s main focus is building a loyal fan base—one that connects with him not just for his music but for who he is as a person. “I also want to perform more. I love the stage and want to do it every day if I can,” he shares. His passion for live performance is matched only by his creative ambitions, as he strives to bring energy and authenticity to every show.
A major inspiration for BigSteppe has been Chris Brown, an artist whose versatility and originality he deeply admires. While their musical styles differ, BigSteppe looks up to Brown’s ability to seamlessly blend rapping and singing, a skill he aspires to master.
With his sights set high and his foundation strong, BigSteppe is carving out his own lane in the music industry. His journey from YouTube covers to major collaborations shows a commitment to growth and a hunger for more.
