The CNG Interview

CNG is an independent underground rap collective from Mississippi. It consists of artists CNG Glokky, CNG Cutta, CNG K5ive, and CNG J-Money who produces music for the collective. They have a few other artists on their roster who are scheduled to make their debut in the music industry this year.

The collective was founded by CNG Glokky and CNG Cutta in the early months of 2024. They met in 6th grade and bonded over their love of music. As time went on, they continued to keep in touch. Glokky started making music, eventually Cutta followed suit and they started making music together.

Glokky released his first EP “Roses” in September of 2024, followed by his Mixtape “The Life of Glokky” in November of 2024 on SoundCloud. Throughout all of 2024, Cutta and Glokky released 18 tracks together including “Wait for You” and “Pass the Test.” CNG Cutta is currently working on his debut mixtape which is currently untitled but it is expected to be released soon.

CNG J-Money is a great artist, even better producer, and an amazing creative. His passion for music and helping others transcends beyond CNG. CNG K5ive is a great rapper and star athlete. Even though he is new to the music industry, his passion and dedication will continue to take him farther than his competition. The future of the music industry is bright. I am confident that CNG will lead the way for a new generation of musicians and artists. 2025 has just begun and it will be an exciting year for these new artists.
